Carving Our Words Workshop

Words hold a great importance whether we realize it or not. Creating a positive reinforcement, gentle message to guide us back on track, or just something fun that we love, we carved our words into linoleum blocks. My favorite thing about this 2 part workshop was bringing people from the community together who may not have otherwise met. Phone numbers were exchanged and friendships created while we carved, printed and shared our stories and why we chose our words. It was fun to get to know everyone and be in a space of genuine positivity. Thank you everyone who participated and to The Bubbler at Madison Public Library for the opportunity to engage with the community in this way.
